OPSRC's New Online Forum

I know June can be crazy as you close out your year, but I hope you’ve found time here and there to relax and get some rest. We’ve got some great things happening here at the OPSRC, and we’re looking forward to working with you this next school year.

One thing we do on a regular basis is gather superintendents from around the state for our Rural Superintendents' Advisory Council. We really enjoy getting to have district leaders in the building, and we know it’s always good to get out of the office now and then to connect with your peers.

If you haven’t been attending, just know that we’d love to have you. We typically cover different topics, feed you and allow you time to talk and ask questions. It’s pretty informal.

Some of the feedback we received at a recent council meeting was that you would like to have an online forum where you can post and chat about different topics and issues with other educators and leaders. We’ve built that forum and you can find it at http://forum.opsrc.net or under the “For Schools” menu on our website.

The forum is invite-only. That means you can’t just go and sign up. We want it to be a community where you can share freely and have some in-depth conversations. If you’d like to join in on the forums, send me an email, and I’ll make sure you get an invite. Come chat about what’s happening in your district, get advice and share the great things your schools are doing!

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
