The information bears re-emphasizing, in light of the very disturbing emerging trend of kids killing other kids within schools.
School safety matters can no longer be thought of as not applicable to any particular district. As we’re seeing, these tragedies can happen anywhere, any time, and at any school, be it small or large. We’re all in this together, so if your plan is not thorough and you haven't spent a sufficient amount of time reviewing it and practicing each step in your emergency response plan with all involved staff and community members, do NOT delay.
