Looking for a way to utilize your new iPad more effectively? Check out these free apps:
iBooks – access multimedia textbooks (and thousands of other books). Textbooks are owned by the purchaser and stored in their account – including free updates. Some textbooks are free, others available for purchase. If you have access to a Mac, use iBooks Author, another free app from Apple, to create your own multimedia textbook.
iTunes U – entire courses with syllabus, assignments, video, documents, apps, and books. Browse the available courses or create your own, all on the iPad.
Adobe Voice – free storytelling app for iPad. Use available images and icons or load your own, narrate your story, and share. It’s just that simple.

The OPSRC is a school service organization dedicated to the development of services for public schools. We would like to clarify our stance on Senate Bill 1187 (SB 1187). SB 1187 passed out of the Oklahoma Senate last week on Thursday, March 10, with a vote of 25-20.
