With this in mind, OPSRC is excited to share with schools an opportunity to add revenue to your budgets. We have teamed up with Joe Dorman, community outreach director for True Wireless, to spread the word about their phone service offering for your families who qualify for the National School Lunch Program. Eligible families can receive a mobile phone through True Wireless, and increasing the number of families enrolled in the service will provide more financial aid to your school. The program also has the benefit of creating an avenue for more stable communication with parents that may have been previously absent or unreliable.

Happy 2016!! As I welcome in the new year, I always begin the “cleanse”–going through closets and chunking items I no longer want or that fit, ridding the kitchen cabinets of expired food and actually wiping off the refrigerator shelves (can finally see them after all of the holiday food is out). I know for many this is a time of the 21-day “diet-cleanse,” renewed gym memberships and even the 21-day “financial cleanse.”
