With this in mind, OPSRC is excited to share with schools an opportunity to add revenue to your budgets. We have teamed up with Joe Dorman, community outreach director for True Wireless, to spread the word about their phone service offering for your families who qualify for the National School Lunch Program. Eligible families can receive a mobile phone through True Wireless, and increasing the number of families enrolled in the service will provide more financial aid to your school. The program also has the benefit of creating an avenue for more stable communication with parents that may have been previously absent or unreliable.

As I write this today, we are exactly three hours and twenty eight minutes from the official deadline for the legislature to gavel session closed.
It’s the end of tornado season, and hopefully, everyone made it through safe and sound. As architects, we always encourage schools to review their emergency plans every year because as spring rolls around, we can count on receiving numerous calls concerning tornado safety.
